El Nido Resorts’ “Be G.R.E.E.N. (Guard, Respect, Educate El Nido)” environmental practices training seminar received the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) 2011 Gold Award for Environmental Education last April 11, 2011 during the PATA Gold Awards Luncheon and Presentation at the China World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 3 in Beijing, China.
ENR’s Director of Environment Ms. Mariglo Laririt accepted the award on behalf of Ten Knots Development Corporation/El Nido Resorts. Mr. Joao Manuel Costa Antunes (director, Macau Government Tourist Office) and Mr. Bill Calderwood (Interim CEO, PATA) presented the award.
