El Nido Resorts celebrates World Responsible Tourism Day 2012

El Nido Resorts celebrated “WTM World Responsible Tourism Day” for the second time last November 25, 2012.

The activities started in the morning, with guests and staff from Miniloc, Lagen, and Pangulasian Resorts volunteering in coastal and underwater cleanups in and around their islands. After cleaning up, volunteers were rewarded with a scrumptious buffet lunch at Dibuluan Beach Club and a small souvenir bag to thank them for their efforts.

Their next stop was Dagal-Dagal, where they toured the Materials Recovery Facility and got their hands dirty sorting out some of the trash they collected.

Volunteers brought the collected trash to the ENR Materials Recovery Facility.
